Although ColdFusion 9 has the cfmap tag, Google has recently updated their JavaScript API, no longer requiring an API key, and changing their usage policies:
"The JavaScript Maps API V3 is a free service, available for any web site that is free to consumers." (http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/javascript/) Contained here is a custom tag implementation and accompanying javascript file, plus an example of usage. The JavaScript is uncompressed, so you may wish to minify the script. All scripts, tags, components, and templates are heavily documented.
